Getting Leisureby JPRComment: What a fun shot. I always enjoy finding little sentences, fun names or coincidences in cemeteries. I like your choice of duotone and exposure/dof. The composition feels slightly off to me, I think I'd like to see the "getting" stone off to the left just slightly, but I recognize that there were limitations based on the fact that you didn't place these tombstones. Fits the challenge as well. |

Foundby kaenmeyComment: I like this take on serendipity and the sparse nature of your composition. I would probably shift it a little bit to the right so that the ring was more in the lower right side of the frame, but I like the texture of the acorn. |

...........by middelboschComment: I like the colors (what great soil you have!) - the color of the flowers, the trowel and the coins. The mixure of textures is also nice, the softness of the leaves, the matte finish of the flowerpot and the shininess of the coins. I would have prefered a slightly closer cropping and more detail on the coins, perhaps burying some of them more in the dirt and some more dirty (they would be if they were in the ground.) |

It helps if you know treasure when you see itby hannafateComment: I like the colors and stark lighting (they're malted easter eggs, right?). The choice of the gem is interesting too, since it's of similar size and texture. Certainly not a welcome find if it ends up in your mouth though! A very fun interpretation of the assignment and one of the best "staged" ones in my opinion. |

A Surprise Visit from Jon Bon Joviby alanfreedComment: This is a very fun shot. I love how everyone in the background is also taking a photo (of his back - or maybe of you). I wish the mike wasn't in such an awkward position, as it draws focus from your subject. |

Diamond(s) in the Roughby dcclossComment: An interesting photo - I like the depth of focus, though I find the ring to be out of focus slightly and so I missed it the first time I looked at this shot. I love hte little bits of fibers in the nest as well, which adds to the idea that this bird collected things, including this ring. |

Reflectionsby ablessgComment: I really like this composition, how wonderful it was that you found this tree in full bloom. I think it could be cropped slightly at the top and perhaps the contrast heightened, but a lovely, compelling photo. |

it grows on trees after all.....by nordicComment: An interesting photo - the hand in the foreground feels overexposed and gives an odd sense of persepctive to the shot since it's so much larger. I don't mind staged shots such as this, but I'd like to see the bills integrated into the branches more organically (as if they've grown like leaves, perhaps). Great idea. |

The Beautiful Garden in the Midst of a Modern Metropolisby mirdonamyComment: An interesting setting and lighting. Without your title, I have no reference for whether this is a common style for this neighborhood, or if it's out of place (but welcome) so the serendipity part is lost on me. I like the lanterns and the overall composition with the angle of the balcony and branches framing the top. I think I would crop it slightly on the left to heighten that. |

The busy worker stopped to pose!by tolovemoonComment: I wanted to like this photo more, I like the scale of the bumble bee to the flowers, but it's rather grainy and the composition is just slightly off if the bee is to the be focus. It must have been a very fun shoot. |
