Alone up there.by visual28Comment: Strong, simple composition. I was hoping for just slightly more contrast in the earth areas (the clouds look great). The thick border is distracting for me. Great capture, must have been a fun place to shoot. 8 |

Submerged Afloatby OlyuziComment: I like the subject and feels it fits the challenge well. The horizon seems a little off (but not distracting). Also, the color has a bit of a green cast to it. |

Always there for meby nruterComment: The type is soft, though I know what it says. The emotion of the photo, the relationship is lacking here. The two way aspect of friendship as lacking in the photo - perhaps if I saw the book and how it was taken care of in the home or carried. The drawing in the lower corner is distracting from the overall composition. |

Guys and Dogsby SammieComment: I like the background here more than I care for the subject. The friendship isn't really apparent, the two men walking don't seem to be relating to their dogs, each other or the other dogs. |

a boy and his sock puppetby InputOutputComment: What a fun idea. The whole thing is kind of soft. A little closer in and with a less distracting shirt would help. I don't mind motion blur on the puppet but I think his face should be a bit more crisp. |

Friends for lifeby nikuserComment: I love the pose, I liked the colors and the choice of shirts they're in. The photo's a little smaller than I'd like and a little overexposed on the boy's forehead. I'm not feeling much of a relationship between the two subjects, since their backs are turned to each other and the boy is looking at the camera, not her. |

jumping togetherby slonkoComment: What fun! I love the expression on the fellow on the left. The stop motion is wonderfully crisp and the implied motion by their weightless hair really sells the photo for me. Well done, and quite an original take for this challenge. 8 |

Beautiful Anneuby ariantoComment: It's a lovely portrait, but doesn't feel like it fits the challenge simply by the imposition of a title. The skin textures feel a little overprocessed. Nice composition, good lighting. |

Stand By Me by librodoComment: Love the colors, the exposure is beautiful, the composition and pose is really evocative. However, the skin textures look weird and plastic and removes me from the verisimilitude of the scene. |
