Clean Air Has Benefitsby levyj413Comment: This is a stunning image, but really do not see how it fits the challenge.
Remove the title and it really has no connection to recycling, re using, etc.
Nice landscape shot - that I have to give you. |

recycle bagby whiterookComment: Fitting to the challenge, but doesn't not really appear to very thought out, is out of focus and noisy. Was this shot with a cell phone perhaps? I see no camera make/model in your exif data. |

Heir to our Policiesby TrinchComment: I really don't see the connection to the challenge in this and suspect you used the color green as the theme, and I'm sure you already heard it all about the challenge not being about the color.
Cherish this shot though - that's far more important than a score here. |

Ready for Recyclingby freakin_hilariousComment: Clever idea and good take on the challenge.
I think if the lighting could be a little more even or subdued in the center and just a touch lighter in the outside section (easily done with shadow/highlight tool in PS), this would have much better appeal and overall score/results.
Good luck on this one. |

OmniDon - Scrap Metal Hideby dtremainComment: Nice tones and lighting here, though I know they did the lighting for you *grin*
Well seen and a good take on the challenge. |

Let's save fuel today and take the horses.by TacTZillaComment: Fun image here and well isolated from the background by the depth of field.
One problem though. I don't see the connection to the challenge.
Remove the title and it doesn't stand a chance, which a good image should be able to stand on it's own, without explanations or saying why it should fit a challenge. |

contains mercuryby briantammyComment: Good take on the challenge.
Let's use less electricity for our lights, but so many would simply toss this in the trash, adding mercury to the landfills. Wise choice huh.
Nice point of view here and the cool toning works well for this. Not really exciting as a subject, but you made a dull subject far more appealing.
Good luck! |

Eat Locally!!!by jrjrComment: Nice clear image here, great lighting, and smiling faces always a plus with me.
For once, a border like this works with the image rather than against it as is usually the case in colored borders, though I never vote on the border.
Good luck on this one. |

Commuting with Dinner for Twoby bspurgeonComment: Maybe it's just me, but I don't really understand how this fits the reuse, recycle theme. If using public transportation is it, then I guess I do, but without the title, this really is out of the box in a way.
Very nice shot and a great choice for b&w.
I'm leaning to thinking out of the box and as I commute away from this image, do so leaving high marks behind.
Good luck. |

Old Tires Reused (Flower Mulch)by LadyKComment: Without the title here, one wouldn't really understand what they were looking at here in my opinion. The lighting, depth of field and overall tones look great. I just have no idea what it is without the the title. |
