Ya know, I really like this picture a lot.
I know the voters spoke, but to me, taking away from the dynamite natural color mix of red & green didn't do justice of what I feel could have been.
As an example, this is how I would have submitted it, but again is just a personal preference:

I was just standing, lens on a monopod.
I have a pretty steady hand as it is.

Post-processing is so minimal. Canon DPP raw conversion using 50% noise reduction, Tungsten WB adjustment (shot in AWB), jpeg into CS2, minor levels, neat image defaults & faded back about 50%, USM and that's it.

I am kind of at a loss here. I thought it was a skateboard at first, but now see the paint rollers.
I have no idea how this fits the challenge, but in the same breath I can't say that it doesn't fit the challenge as an out of the box entry.

Nice image here, but an image really should stand on it's own to fit the theme of the challenge, without a title.
It's produce. Had there been some signs to indicate that it was locally grown, or organic, or fed with 50% post-consumer waste or whatever, it would have been far more effective. As it is, we have no indication that anything here was reused, recycled, etc. without the title.

I had to search around to find what it was that tied this to the challenge. The recycle logo is too far into the corner to be effective, and overall this image is far too noisy and seems out of focus.
Unique - I'll give you that, and done right, would make a pretty cool abstract.
