The image is spectacular, but still has its problems. The blotchiness in the flower petals is very painterly, but very bothersome for a photo. More careful work during post processing would be appropriate. Th background color is PERFECT for the green lizzard. The title seems to imply it's not in a "natural environment?" A catchlight in the eye would add some pizzazz. OK - know my comments do sound like I'm very negative about your image - but the good news is that it's my favorite of the challenge.

Great well saturated colors and a beautiful bird. The lighting is perfect. My only minor point is that the border detracts. I would think a thin black border would work better. Even so - I would place it in the top 10.

Nice idea - but the connection to wildlife (as defined), if any, is extremely remote. The left 1/5 of the image contains nothing of tonal value.

The idea was superb - it's very artsy. But it's just off the mark a bit. The "V" shapes from the bird's body and head are just too crisp-looking. the back end of the has just disappeared. The high key effect is nice.
