WineReflect_5092.jpgby KekiinaniComment: Very nice example of composition. Your glass is slightly offset from the ceter. I don't fee that the lines enhanced the phto any. But I don't think they hurt you too much either. Most of this comosition is color. Big bold patches of color are the first aspect to catch the eye. Due to the contrast of the sky in the glass against the darker background you eyes are drawn to that point. Whichh is good. This is where all of the wonderfull details are hidden. Very well done. |

Sound Wavesby Dr.ConfuserComment: I will give this photo credit for bieng interesting. I don't feel however feel it followed a lot of the "rules" It has strong lines but the tend to lead the veiwer off the page or towards nothing. It is very crisp and clear but it has no solid foundation or focal point. The image does however loosley follow the rule of thirds wich gives it balance. It is at a diagonal wich gives it a feeling of speed and motion. This was a very well photographed shot. But I feel that without having a main subject that it would not do very well with the masses. Good job. |

spider-IMG_3833.jpgby ZippyComment: Wonderfull example of leading lines. Very subtle but there effect is undeniable. You Also followed the rule of thirds perfectly. This makes for a very pleasing shot. You spider is a bit Out of Focus otherwise this one would have scored well in a challenge. I will be going over some tricks to help with the focus in the later chapters. Nicely done. |

purpleflower.jpgby JaimesonComment: Nicely done by moving the flower slightly off center the image has a better feel to it. You also blurred the background a bit which also works well. The deatails in the original background did not enhance in fact they actualy distracted from the subject. In blurring the background you brought the subject of the photo in seemingly sharper focus and drew attention to the flower. Nicely done. |

Tears on featherby ninjaComment: Absolutaly great. The testure is amazing. realy love the lighting I think you managed to get that about as close to perfection as it gets. The colors are wonderfull, and once again I see my self suckered out of an extra point because of the always great looking water drops. Wonderfull job. Keep up the great work. |

Blue Ribbon Turkeyby TroyMosleyComment: I don't know how somthing so ugly could possibly get a blue ribbon. But then again after a few ours in a oven they do tend to look quite appealing. Great texture, and very well done shot. But I still say thats one Fugly bird. |

scales of silver?by kenboComment: Very unusual. One can only speculate the true nature of this shot. I feel however that due to the abstract nature of this shot it need to fill more of the frame to keep it interesting. If the scales had spread more into the black area around this shot. I think I would have liked it a bit more. |
