Well I must admit I didn't score this one very high. It just didn't fit the challenge IMO while I understand the separation you are trying to convey. I don't feel it convryed the separation well. For me I feel that it needs to show what the duck is separated from. Pehaps a full tub with the duck floating on top. Shot from the side allowing you to see the child with his backturned walking away would have worked. But as is it's a duck with no separation.

Laser Peel

ok tones of comments down and this is one I just could not bear too leave a comment on. I realy like this shot. It is a way out there aproach to a simple solution. The metaly are great, and the laser realy adds to the wow factor. It is however just a tiney bit dark IMO great shot and I look forward to seeing more like this one in future challenges.

very crip and clean image. The lighting is also very nice. The image seems to be missing somthing for me. The only thing I can think of would be a reason for the separation. I don't know how that could be worked in though. Great shot vith a strong message. 7

Oil & Water

very simple yet elegant It meets the challenge well. I do however see two thing I would like to change. First I thing a smoth backgroung would have worked better. And second the little bubbles in the glass detract from the overall beauty of the shot. I have heard (not tryed) that boiling the water first will help remove the bubbles. Still a great shot worthy of a 7. Keep up the nice work.

This is a very tastefull and interesting use of a common theme in this challenge. I love the way you use the grapes and plater to enhance the image. You have definately steped this them up a notch. I would liked to have seen a little more light on the grapes. I also don't particularly like the separation beteen table and wall. Overall this is a great shot keep up the nice work.

This was shot too late in the day. I feel that it is to dark to make the a statement. Nothing realy tends to stand out. I am not even sure what the red thing is or if the foot prints are supppose to be part of the separation.. so jsut too dark for me to fully grasp it's meaning.

I kinda see the separation but I don't feel it's avery strong example. What separation are you trying to show, sky from water? The separation of the clouds? An emotional separation? I just am unable too undestrand what separation it is you are trying to portray. I do on the other hand love the wonderfull blue tone to this shot.

very colorfull and fun image to look at. It even has a lasting apeal I can enjoy this shot for a while without getting bored. I do think I would have liked it a little more if the sky were not so washed out. But this still a great image nice work.

nice lighting and tone. I feel that this shot leaves little doubt to the separation. I aplaud your tenacity not many women would cut there nails for a shot a copmuter generated ribbon. Now that dedication. Great shot and fits the challenge good luck.
