The rejected cover art for Mariah Carey's 'Honey' single...On a more serious note- I find the combination of sex and honey obvious and cliche. And I fail to see the bee connection. However- I like the way you can see the the texture within the honey itself and good job capturing the 'drip' I also like the lines of the image- how the overall image is left justified, yet my eye is drawn to the center/continuous line of the honey.

I can appreciate this concept- but it feels forced. IS the kid enjoying this moment? As a viewer- I want to emotionally connect with the 'joy' one would experience in this position, but instead I note how he's biting his tongue and eyeing the bottle- no wish to indulge in the golden nectar. Also, where is the bee connection?

I like the way this image makes me feel like I can 'feel' the honey. The thickness of the honey is easily conveyed to the viewer and the light reflecting off it is appealing. I also find the colors of this image interesting as you kept it clean and almost monochromatic. My only criticism is that this image doesn't make me think of the missing bees...

This crotch shot feels dirty. And not in a fun way. Even the honey jar looks like the off brand high fructose corn syrup that would be served at a chain Mexican food buffet that they strive to pass off as honey 'cause it's sitting next to the sopapillas. On a more serious note- what's in focus in this image?
