Nice photo. The main technical issues are that it's not very sharp and the lighting is a bit harsh. Probably not much you could've done about the lighting from that distance, although a remote flash or maybe a reflector would've helped. The lack of sharpness might just be a limitation of your lens/camera, so I can't take off points for that, but it might also be because your focus was just a little bit too far in front of the subjects' faces. Also, the area near the bottom of his foot looks odd, like you tried to clone something out, and the top of her hair looks blurry, like you tried to artificially blur the background. Sounds like I just listed a lot of things wrong with it, but all of those are fairly minor and can be easily corrected. Overall it's a good photo that meets the challenge very well.

I think you might've dialed up the sharpness a little too much, but it's a good photo. Good decision to use a wide DOF here. The wide dynamic range is impressive, especially with the clouds. A lot of distracting elements in the foreground and background. Without those, this would've been an awesome photo.

Nice colors, good focus and sharpness. The main problem here is the lighting. The subjects are shadowed and underexposed. It's a good photo, but some additional light (from a fill flash or maybe a reflector) could've made it a lot better.

One of the better entries in this challenge, especially in a technical sense. Good lighting & focus, appropriate DOF, black background helps to emphasize the bright colors in the subject(s). If I have to critique something here, it'd be that it doesn't have much of a "wow" factor, and the black thing(s) behind or between them seems out of place and a little distracting. Otherwise it's a good image.

The lighting on the hand seems a little harsh, but this definitely is one of the better entries in this challenge. Perfect amount of background blur! Enough that their faces don't distract too much from the main subject, but not so much that you can't see them well enough. Well done.

Great focus and sharpness. Good lighting. The background seems a bit too distracting and unnatural, although it's nice that the colors match their shirts. I think a larger aperture / shallower DOF would've helped a lot here, to soften the background without taking away the good colors.
