Hello from the Critique Club!

What a great capture. I think a lot of the pictures from this challenge ended up being nicely caught pictures from every day life, and that's great. The irony in this is great, the "you're hot" comment under the statue.

Technical stuff:

Well, first of all, the picture is a bit small! I think you probably got reduced points for that from people. That doesn't bother me, because it is still big enough to convey the message across. Personally, I would have cropped a bit more of the picture. Namely the stuff to the right of the building. The bright light removes the focus from the statue and billboard advertisement. I would have also tried to straighten the horizon a bit.

All in all a fun shot that you seemed to at least have fun with yourself. Good capture, and good luck in the following challengeS!

I think this is a very interesting plant.. I also think it would have been better without the glare of the lights on the right hand side.. I don't like your border very much. it's intrusive, and just doesn't fit the shades of the plant.. other than that, wow. cool shot!

I don't know how much you .. intended this, but it reminds me a LOT of uhm.. women's genitals, and I think that's GREAT! Lovely innuendo. Very interesting that it should look that way.. I'll never be able to look at another apple in quite the same way. Thank you for that :) Very enjoyable macro.

The light seems a bit harsh in this picture.. perhaps cover the light source with a piece of white paper to dim it a bit, which may be helpful. Good use of colour.
