Here was my setup:

The base was cover to a plastic filing folder with a hole cut in the middle to fit the glass. Underneath the base I epoxied a plastic container so that water could be poured around the glass and overflow onto the base. I used duct tape to secure the glass to the bottom of the plastic container, filled with water and used a small syringe to add the droplets around the puddle. As far as lighting, I used 2 AlienBee B800 at 1/4 power aimed at a white reflector for the backdrop.

Thanks for all the comments! I've been away from DPC for a while and this is a great way to come back.

Thanks to my daughter for taking a voluntary "time out" for this shot. I think her expression really sold the shot.

I was trying to figure that out myself! I know this image might not appeal to everyone's taste but I have never scored an image that low unless it DNMC and lacked in the quality department. :S
