Van, this is so cute! I love the way the squirrel is biting the feeder - it just looks like it could be saying a little cuss word there! Is this in your yard? We don't have any squirrels in La Jara - they live in Alamosa but not here for some reason.

It looks fun but I don't know if it riding motorcycles like this could really be considered a "simple" pleasure. One must buy the bike and all the gear and then something to haul them to a place to ride - that is very expensive which makes it something not many people can enjoy. I guess I think of "simple pleasure" as something that is available to just about everyone at very little or no cost.

This is nice, I like the sepia tones that give it that old-fashioned feeling. To me, it would have seemed more complete if the top of the little girl's head hadn't been cut off. She is really the focal point of the picture and somehow, something seems missing when you can't see all of her head. Even though it is in fashion now to cut off the tops of people's heads in pictures - to me it looks like a mistake.
