That's Extraordinary!!!!by LENWOODBLUZComment: Great expression and composition. The cheekbone close to the nose looks a little funny- like it was smudged or something. That is kind of distracting since it is in the middle of the frame. Otherwise, nicely done! |

When The Wind Blowsby sherComment: I like this- the lighting, the contrasts and the DOF are all very nice. The subject is interesting as well. |

Chillin'by JackoComment: Nice! I think I would have preferred a slightly greater DOF to have the nose and mouth in focus too. The focus on they eyes is very sharp. |

Pause in the Journeyby wildingcComment: I think there is some room for improvement on this shot. I would recommend not using backlighting for this shot. All of the colors are washed out- you can barely tell that the grass and trees are green. Alternatively, full backlighting and underexposure so that you are only capturing a dark silohuette may work as well. The pole at the right should be cropped out of the frame. If the stop sign is intended to be the main point of interest, I would tighten the composition on it. The background for this shot is not very interesting and doesn't really need to be in the shot. |

Somewhere In Timeby itsjavaComment: I think this shot has a lot of potential- the framing, focus and subject matter are all good. The lighting is the main area that can be improved. The light looks very flat and harsh washing out a lot of the contrast- it is hard to tell where the grass ends and trees begin. For this reason, I think the conversion to B&W may not have been an improvement. (The old-time feel doesn't work with all of the people wearing modern clothes anyway...) Alternatively, some curves adjustments in software might be able to enhance the contrasts some to add some more "life" to the shot. |

Waiting For The Number 10by browntComment: Very weird- in a good way I think. The giant head with the glasses is the key to this shot for me. Without him I think this would just be another street scene. |
