Featherby lamedosComment: I think this photo is great, but I like it 100% better even, if it is cropped just above the "spine" of the feather. Of course, that would not meet current dpc requirements, but it still would be dynamite. Just my thoughts. Take what you can use and disregard the rest. 8, just-married |

Milk Chocolate in Bloomby PaigeComment: Very nice. I love the framing sirst and foremost. The chocolate decision really works for you here. Sets this photo apart from other flower macros; makes you appreciate things in the photo other than a pretty flower. Your DOF is great; really defines the flower versus the background even though their colors are similar. The texture, the softness of the flower is wonderful and the crown adds a good point of interest for the eye. In my top 5 for the week. 10, just-married |

A Tricky Treatby alanfreedComment: The background color selection here is a good one, somehow it makes me feel all antiseptic and creepy - makes me imagine the environment where a creep might actually DO something like this. I wish though that the apple were "just-cut fresh"; I guess you worked with it for a little while. For me the dulled white is too close to the color of the background. Also, I think it would be more effective if the focus here were RAZOR sharp. 5, just-married |
