He's my dad!by LouisonComment: I recognize your models from a few challenges back. I think Luc would make an interesting subject for solo prtraits as well, if he'd model.
Nice work here. You lit the background very well. |

seetheworld.jpgby lewissComment: Wow! I'm not one to toss out the trite "I feel old" comments, but I am moved by the fact that recruits in this image are mere children. The title poignantly guides my thoughts along those lines as well. |

Sunday Morningby DJLubaComment: Quite lovely. If she was mine, I'd have it printed on canvas and hung. |

another try, with glassesby postoakinversionComment: I wish I knew the same. You did a pretty good job here. At least the reflections don't obscure the eyes. Perhaps you should start a thread in the forums asking for tips. It's actually on my list of threads to start as I have time to practice more. Good luck to you. |

Crumbled Dreams IIby dacrazyrnComment: Congratulations! Very nice shot. I love old abandoned buildings. Great job bringing out the textures and tones of this old place! |

The Blue Doorby rscorpComment: I like a lot about this photo; the environment, the framing, the arresting look of the girl. The light coming from above, however, is darkening the natural shadows under her eyes in an unflattering way. Looks like natural light, and if it is then it's a bit harder to control (wink). It's hard to tell if she's modeling for you or if you saw her and decided to take her photo (the difficulty determining I find to be a very good thing), but if she's posing, perhaps you could alleviate the shadows by having her lift her chin a bit. Very nice work here. |
