the quality is good-it's in focus, clear and crisp etc.
But there is nothing "special" about the picture.
there is no story here.
Maybe if the background include something that could us more about this person?
like his job or where he lives or what he is doing there?
as it is, it looks like a picture used for a work magazine employee of the month :-)

It would have been nice with a different background rather than that dark grass(?) area, perhaps some more flowers or at least a nice complemetary color.

Yes, I've seen it before.
But what pictures haven't I seen before!
Well, quite a few actually, but you know what I'm trying to say.
Anyway, this is a good attempt at it.
Very good.
I don't think I would be able to control it a well as this.
The only thing I'm not too keen on is the use of the bible, but I'm not a religious person, so that's understandable.
I think the choice of color works well, especially in getting away from the red.
the hot spot in the top left is also a little distraction.
But overall I think you've done a great job.

And you even gave Konador due respect (even though you spelt his name wrong :-))

7-not original enough for an 8, but definitely worth more than a 6.

i like the picture a lot.
the black and white is perfect.
even the angled window is spot on.
it's a shame that you couldn't have gotten just the mountains in the background and not those line of cars.
that would have made the picture near on perfect.

Such an inquisitive expression on his face and lovely green eyes.
You seemed to have captured his personality very well.
And with the laptop there, it shows how much he wants to "help" you when you do post processing and surfing-at least that's what my cats do!!!!!
only improvement would be to clone out that line above his head?

it looks like shes trying to get up.
she looks awkward.
the girl on top looks a lot more comfortable.
i think if they were both relaxed and comfortable then the picture would have been more effective.
