Lingual Tricksby odriewComment: Made me smile. Didn't know an animal could pick its own nose with its own tongue. |

High and Dryby EstimatedEyesComment: A stark reminder of the power of the sea. I like it, especially for its composition, color saturation and subject matter. Crop is a little tighter than I might have done. |

The Orphanageby MarioPierreComment: Feels like one of the spooky scenes in The Shining, book by Stephen King, movie by Stanley Kubrick. Love it. |

My What Big Red Eyes You Have by scooter88Comment: Yet another Roz-like bug. Superbly done. Focus. Color. Detail. How can this bug stand so still while it's having its portrait taken? But I confess I am growing tired of the genre. No worries - this is getting a good score. |

Grand Canyonby sekarmalathyComment: Lovely place. Interesting choice to feature the foreground rather than the background. It will be interesting to see how this does in the voting. |

Chasing Seagullsby fisheyeComment: This is a great image on many levels. The child is perfectly seen and captured. I like that there are lots of birds in the air. What child hasn't chased pigeons or seagulls? But I like even better that there are many birds still on the beach. Terrific! But watch the (unintentional?) tilt of the horizon. It detracts a bit. No worries, you're getting a good score from me. |

Lowlandsby svstoltzComment: This is a good work-man-like photo. Try to step it up a notch and help me feel interested in the subject that grabbed your attention just before you pressed the shutter release. |
