Thru the Viewfinder by beekeeperComment: I rarely like distressed borders like this, but in this case it works perfectly. The photo is well composed and the lines of the two animals keep my eye circling the frame and never let me leave it. |

Standing by Lake Sylviaby davehamComment: This is interesting. You've taken a terrestrial scene and made it feel like it's under water. The blue and the diagonal streaks feel like water. The red leaves have a coral feeling to them. You may (or may not) have intended this but I like the feeling of the shot and how my head goes back and forth between land and sea. |

Typhoonby nolongerhostageComment: Makes me want to throw up and I mean that in a good way. I get motions sick on rides like this. This captures almost perfectly my childhood fascination with rides at the fair. Fear. Fantasy. Excitement. |

Path to a Dreamby senor_kasperComment: This could easily be a poster for a movie. It creates many unanswered questions. Who is this guy. Where is he going? Why? Why now? The swath of green in the otherwise mostly B&W gives us some hope it will not end badly. Super job. |

Bluesby lovethelightComment: Lovely model. Good detail in things that should be detailed. Maybe a little too smooth on the skin for my taste, unless of course she really has flawless skin. . Shooting into the sun was an interesting choice. I actually like it and the resulting lens flairs. Nice photo. Thanks. |

Autumn Joyby idnicComment: Nicee portrait of a lovely girl. You've allowed her personality to shine through. Nice foreground detail (especially hair and eyes) and good choice for DOF to set off your subject. |

Autumn Glowby outofthisnatureComment: The DOF of field really shows off your subject. I never realized that individual leaves don't change color all at once. Hmm ... that's interesting. |

A Mouthfulby karenkComment: Made me smile. Reminds me of a Jack Benny stare (you may have to google this). Oh, and the pictured is well imagined, captured, and presented. |

For a Songby muur88Comment: Makes me feel sad. Dismal place. Busker with no audience and no visible prospect of one. You've conveyed the emotion of this very well. |

Fog in the Afternoonby pam90066Comment: When I was a kid, I was in a sailing school and we raced to practice our newly acquired skills. You've just taken me back in time to those pleasant experiences. Glad you left the bird in the frame. Foreground water seems to have some sharpening/jpg artifacts. I might have tried blurring it just a little. |
