Interesting scene. Nice colors. Good control of gradient-like lighting. Might like to see just a bit more of the foreground. It's prety dark on my monitor.

Made me grin. And your title says it perfectly ... parody. But even a parody needs a healthy kernel of some reality to parody ... and you nailed this one!

True, just another day, but where? I like that you didn't tell us. Feels like one of those nostalgic newspaper photos taken 75 years ago. The strength of this is the composition, the lighting, and the interesting sky/cityscape shapes. There will be some who don't like the soft focus, but it seems to works well here.

Great photo of this interesting bird. Detail is superb on the bird, and dof does a nice job isolating it from the background.

My son-in-law does this. It's fun, exciting, and muddy! Good photo of the sport.

Sign of the times ... not so much the economy, but of the changing times. Good color, detail and lighting.

Comment:
The tilted horizon (assume it's a hill sloping to the left) offsets the centered composition. Both, individually would be no nos, but in this case, it seems to work and gives the steer an in-your-face appeal.

Indeed she is. Neat neat photo of a pretty girl well imagined, captured and presented. In this case a border would have dressed up the photo and sold your title even further.

Beautifully detailed. Love the high contrast. Composition feels a little tight at the top.

Interesting take on the fall stream scene. The focus on the leaves in the foreground reminds us why fall colors are what they are. I'm not sure how I'd approach it, but the leaves get lost a bit in the background because the colors, luminosity, and saturation are similar. I might try changing one or more of those to bring a bit more attention to the leaves.
