1959by wickedpeteComment: There is a certain balance to the image which fits the challenge well enough. The tatooing is probably the strongest part of the image but you've really got to look for it. Beyond that, I'm a little lost. Sorry. |

Sum dotsby cimarron98Comment: Interesting abstract but the the image feels flat to me. Multiple liught sources and some shadowing would have helped I think. |

Love, Balance, and Harmonyby TranquilComment: This is a good, well executed image. Comp, balance, DOF and color are great. The white along the top is a bit blown out.
The first time something like this was done, it got very good marks for innovation and degree of difficulty. But you don't have to be a rocket scientist to build the second atom bomb.
Still, it's a good image and I gave it a good score. |

Take my hand, so you don't slip!by loz1Comment: This is a good workmanlike image. Composition, focus, color and contrast are good. I am bothered a bit (especially looking at the thumbnail) by the dark left corner. Another crop might have improved it. |

Nature's Balanceby melismaticaComment: A visceral image. Photography should be emotive, and this certainly generates an emotional response. Probably risky in this forum. Thanks for taking the risk. |

stonesby slonkoComment: I like the zen like image of balance with its zen like simplicity. Among my top picks for technical excellence and composition. Good luck. |

Physical and Abstract Balance by graphicfunkComment: When I first saw this, it didn't do much for me. But the more I see it the more impressed I am with the image. The subtlties of the background and the table top are intriguing. It is obviously a superb example of balance. Reflections are good. Where's the camera? Depth of field is wonderful. Great job. Among my top picks (upon reflection). |

Stable Environmentby sherComment: I like this a lot. When I look at the thumbnail, it looks like a dinosaur raising up out of a field of grass. I expected to hate it when I opened it up. What an O'Henry like surprise to open the image and see this stunning b&w macro of a leaf balanced on it's stem. I liked it a lot. Technically, it's a virtually perfect image. With the surprise ending, it's one of the best in class. Top 10 for sure. Good job! |

On the Edgeby sfaliceComment: Wow!! What a fantastic photo. Fit with theme is outstanding. Very dynamic composition. Focus and clarity of the sails is terrific. Depth cueing with the haze adds to the sense of distance. Top 10 for sure. |
