As I was thinking about the challenge, this was the first image that came to mind and one I was unsuccessful capturing with the style and grace you gave this one. You have executed it flawlessly. I like the high key approach. Composition, focus, DOF, levels are perfect. Very very well done. Among my top 10 this time out. (9)

I don't much care for the style of this picture but have to give credit where credit is due. It nicely meets the challenge. It is technically virtually flawless. And it carries a nice emotional punch. Among my top picks this time out. (9)

This is a much more interesting and complex image than the thumbnail lead me to expect. The lighting and focus on the stone is very very good. And the focus on the bridge (fortunately aided by the haze which will cover some sins) is excellent. Based on trying a similar shot, I kow this isn't so easy. Well done. (9)

Nice job. Among my top 10 picks for this challenge. I like the atmosphere you've given the shot with color and focus. Clearly meets the challenge, and nicely frames the subject. (9)

Frankly this is not the traditional framing I had expected, but effective at highlighting the misty/foggy/cloudy sky. In the end, it is a beautiful capture and one of the best photos in this week's challenge. (9)

Absolutely beautiful. I can "see" the wind. I can "feel" the sound of the surf. I can "smell" the light on the water. You have done a fantastic job of appealing to all the senses. (10)

Can you make the image bigger? I'd like to see more of it.

Very nice photo, both technically and aesthetically. Gave you an extra point for that. Not sure what it has to do with hope. "While voting, users are asked to keep in highest consideration the topic of the challenge and base their rating accordingly. "
