Fantastic image. Contrast is dramatic. Colors are good. focus is off a bit, but too badly. In another challenge I would rate it an 8 - 10. But here it just barely barely meets the challenge. In fact all the light is from over your left sholder. You get a bit of light reflected off the sky, but IMO hardly backlit.

Interesting image. Good colors and comp. Subject is interesting. But only minimally meets challenge. On my monitor at least, all I see of the subject is silhouette.

This is the most bizarre photo of this challenge. Interesting colors and composition. Clearly meets challenge. I can see it hanging in the modern section of a museum. Was this taken with a camera phone?

Very nice picture. Subject is fine. Comp is fine. Focus, DOF, colors and levels are fine. But on my monitor, all I see of the subject is silhouette -- therefore doesn't meet challenge.
