This is a unique and clever idea and photo. I think Mondriam would approve if he were around today. I like the technical aspects of the photo too (how you combined the in-focus and out of focus together), and realized I have a lot to learn.

It takes some getting used to. But it is clever and reflects the grid-based work and rectangles of color Piet Mondrian is known for. In addition, there are geometric shapes and some abstract qualities.

Wow. This is like a Mondrian biography in a picture. I never heard of him, but enjoyed researching his work. He started out painting landscapes with fields and windmills. You also reflect his interest in geometric shapes, grid-based shapes, and abstracts.

I like this photo. I never heard of Mondrian before. (I did take an art class in college, but didn't remember this name.) After researching Mondrian, I learned he started out painting landscapes and trees before he became interested in abstract. I believe he would have complimented you on this photo. It's nice.
