Blue bird of paradiseby snsComment: Now this is interesting. I'm thinking that if you could change the angle slightly and crop to get rid of the white top then it would look better. |

Shadow of Fireby rkymtndreamComment: Great shot! I love the way the light projects from the cloud. I might have cropped this a little tighter to leave less of the dark bottom, but that's just my personal taste. |

Red Manby LanSnakeComment: Good job, visually Interesting shapes with a nice background hue. I'm not so sure about the two-tone background texture though, I think it might be better with just the more solid panel used on the right side of the photo. |

Cotton Reelsby jhcrossComment: I like this photo because of it's simplicity, composition, and pleasant combination of soft color. It takes a good eye to find such a jewel in common simple items. I also like the way you broke up the background by using black on the right to created a balance with the shadow on the left. There is a slight problem with lighting harshness that robs from the soft texture by blowing out some highlights. Since there is plenty of contrast, I think that this could have been lessened or avoided altogether with a change of f-stop or shutter speed, or by using a polarizer or neutral density filter. |

wrong address...by MagsCoyoteComment: Being so close in on this one shows me a shadow, but causes me to become confused as to the subject of the photo. |

What Color Is YOUR Shadow?by GeneralEComment: Great idea! I think it could be improved by a little more care with background distraction and foreground background distance, but I think this a really good and original subject. |

BANG by CoreyComment: The shadow done it! This is a fun photo that does a nice job of storytelling. Maybe a hole in the back of the coat and some dark liquid oozing from underneath the victum. |

Beer Gogglesby csbComment: Is that a shadow or a cutout made to look like one? Either way it does a darn good job of making a statement. |
