Coconut Shadowsby mcrochipComment: A guy, a girl, and a dog. What is the subject here? One technical suggestion, you might try using some unsharp mask on the final photo to give it more of a crisp in focus look. |

Hold Tightby bobgaitherComment: Wow! A difficult high action shot! I don't know how high up this guy really is, but the camera angle gives the impression of really flying high. Nice shot! |

Purple Shadowby snoopyComment: I love this flower and it casts a nice color to the the shadow. I do wish the background were a smooth solid though. I think that the pattern of the material detracts slightly from the elegance of the flower. |

Numbersby arnitComment: Great creativity, one of the best I've seen! Well executed with clearly defined images and very good composition. |

Lifeby mciComment: The shadows do make an interesting play on the tombstone. |

Midnight Caravanby magnetic9999Comment: Nice silhouette with interesting color and a very nice background that is blurred just right. There is some weird reflection or something messing up the upper part of the background, otherwise this is very good. |

I wish I was outsideby RoninComment: I see a cute cat and a nice pose. Interesting lighting on the cat, but it doesn't cast a very good shadow. I think this may have worked better with a different angle for the lighting. The striped floor is an interesting background, perhaps a long shadow down the length of the blinds? |

a glass top tableby lecookComment: Wonderful idea! I think that this simple arrangement works. Not a complaint, but I'm wondering if you tried using a polarizer to eliminate the reflections and if so did it help or hinder the photo? |

She's Lurking in the Shadowsby tjpierreComment: I like the angle of composition on this one. It is a nice setup that works well with the title. It might work better using a higher f-stop to keep things in focus. As it is, the viewer's attention is drawn to the knight in the foreground. Of course, that does lead next to the queen's shadow, so maybe not. |

Diamonds In The Roughby pnichollsComment: How I wish we were not limited to the 4:3 aspect ratio. This is very good and would be better if you could crop the top off, but you would need to do so without loosing the sides darn it! I gave this a very high score because it demonstrates such an unusual view of a simple common pattern. The angle and focal length are just right. The front (bottom) looks slightly out of focus, which is the only thing I can see that might be improved. Very good job on this one. |
