~by nfesselComment: Too bad, this could have been a very nice photo if you hadn't tampered with it so much. I'm rating down any photo that had been obviously digitally altered, as your had. |

Bent and Rustedby JMSComment: Nice feeling of tension created here.
I think a little wider focus would have helped it out a bit. The left hand part of the wood and part of the bolt seem out of focus. While the rope and central wood seem to be your main focus. It's a little distracting but it's a minor flaw in an otherwise very nice shot. |

High Security by jjbeguinComment: Excellent detail and color. I have nothing to add that would make this a better photo. Very nice shot! |

Rusty Linksby mcraelComment: Great detail, good use of background. O love the rust flakes below the chain links. I'm not sure that it was intentional, but by placing the links as you did it creates a circle, which leads the eye around the photo. Very nice job. I only wish that the upper left corner were not so bright. |

Hidingby kosmikkreeperComment: Good matching of colors. The skin is overexposed, which draws the eye to the left. By croppin goff the ear, and perhaps the hair, the focus might have been drawn back to the center of the picture. Great idea, great focus. |

I am bit rusted, sryby kinksComment: Nice capture, but the toads back is overexposed and blends with the background. More of the photo in focus would have made it a much stronger photo. |

Wilted Flowerby Dyl2007Comment: There's no rust, at least that I can pick out in a black and white photo. wilted, yet. Rusted, no. Why black and white? Technically good, but my vote will be low. |

Rusted Earthby sixmacsComment: Interesting idea, but too abstract for me. The rust is barely visible and the indent is distracting. I also think there is too much light reflecting along the edge, which makes for too little contract between subject and background. |

spanner worksby microComment: You should use a tablecloth or blank piece of paper as a background. The words distract. If they were supposed to mean something to us, you should make sure the important onces are showing. |

Plain Rust...by tpoultonComment: There's a lot of noise here. Did you add noise? You also have only a tiny portion of the photo in focus. Was that intentional? If not you should use a higher f stop next time. |
