	Winter Solstice Sentinel by quiche Comment: Another one of my favorites. I love the way the sort of silhouette of the dead tree reaches up into the clear sky. The atmosphere is still and gently moody. Ah, the west.

	Death in the Winter II. by Jules1x Comment: This is an elegant portrait of milkweed pods. Those two seem to be smiling at the viewer. I like the delicate background vegetation. The lighting brings an immediate sense of winter.
