Apollo Rising by Keith ManiacComment: I've seen similar photos many times, but this one is particularly well executed. I personally would have cropped a little off the sides (at least the left), but I wouldn't be surprised to find the silhouette of a ribbon around Apollo's neck next week. 9 |

Right on topic, and the couple adds a lot of interest, though a vertical crop might yield a better composition. You lose a point for the easily-corrected tilted horizon, but still a fine entry. 7

Subway.jpgby scalvertComment: This shot was taken on a tripod specifically for the Long Exposure challenge. I expected the train to come from the other direction, so I only had seconds to flip the tripod around and shoot the other way. Tom and I attempted this again at the next station, but the Metro police were not amused. |
