In the Pondby tyt2000Comment: Great capture. A little soft. Unless your white balance was WAY off, it looks like this would have been a fabulous color shot. |

Sand's Eggby aromiaComment: I've stared at it for a while, but I just can't see three of anything. I must be missing something, but I feel like I'm just looking at a picture of dirt. |

Cleveland Rocks!by rubyrednailsComment: Gotta shoot this at more of an angle or use a very shallow DOF to eliminate those other 2 guitars (or at least crop two out). I don't know what's off to the sides, but shooting more from the left side might help with that bright spot on the sky, too. |

3 Cicadasby walkasiaComment: A little underexposed- might have been a good place to force a fill flash. Good find. How'd you narrow them down to ONLY three? ;-) |

Retrofittingby jazzmanmgtComment: Good find. One of the better entries. Looks like you were at your zoom limit and oversharpened to compensate- there is some pixelization aroud the cranes. |

three beechesby rhipsterComment: Good idea, but the unfortunate highlight on the big tree makes it look like two (and therefore 4 in your shot). The harsh light keeps the subjects from standing out. |

Sit Stay, Stand Stay, and Down Stayby hallswelComment: A little overexposed and washed out, especially on the right side. Pet and kid shots are so common here that great exposure is essential and you need to do something unusual to stand out. Stack the pups or put them nose to nose and shoot from above, etc. |

The Three Three'sby binkyat3Comment: The exposure and color are great for such a tough subject. The tight crop doesn't offer any context for the 3. It's so stylized, that I find myself wondering what the background has to do with popcorn. |

3-ballby spydrComment: No question about meeting the challenge. ;-) The grayscale background is a good idea, but possibly overdone. The result makes the ball look like a flat illustration. The bottom edge and the ball's shadow could stand a bit more light. |
