the cloudmakerby nikantComment: Looks like something I might have done- LOL. With a little more DOF on those clouds, I'd expect a ribbon. With that much blur, though, I think you might have mist it. 8 |

Peeled, Sliced, and Choppedby dacrazyrnComment: Very good surrealism. I kinda wish you had a vegetable peeler in the other hand to complete the story. Good job pulling this off under Basic Editing. 8 |

Bodhisattva by labudsComment: You must have great hand-eye coordination. ;-)
Can't wait to see how this was done. My guess (based upon some slight blur in the palm) would be a double exposure. Regardless, this is excellent work and surely among the ribbons. Gotta be Labuda or maybe Seanachai. My pick for, uh... second place. ;-) 10 |

fearby SeanachaiComment: This would make a powerful symbol of the Indonesian Tsunami. |

DreamMasterby smvallesComment: The blurry motion and poor lighting kills any chance you might have had with a potentially good subject. Yes, the blur could be considered part of the surrealism, but you need a perfect exposure and/or better quality lighting to communicate your skill to the viewers before blur will be considered intentional. |

"Simply Surreal"by CoolCat1082Comment: Um... I don't understand what's so surreal about this. It looks like a standard snapshot that any college student might take at a party (it would score better in the Best Friends challlenge). |

Toes on fireby yelenaaComment: Yikes. A centered, blurry shot of one of the most unappealing subjects possible, with blown highlights, no shadow detail, and questionable white balance. You might have a shot at a ribbon, but I don't think you'll like the color. Better luck next time. :-( |
