Great stuff. Fantastic effect, I would use this in a magazine ad without any problem at all. I am bugged by the shoe at the end of the day still being zipped up. Even if they are usually kicked off like this, if there is a story being told about the end of the day, then these little details help convey the story. Picky? yes but this is a tough school and the commercial world is tougher.

Strange, the line of the zipper is in the middle of the horizontal part of the pic, but all the other parts like color, aperture control/dof, vertical subject placement and lighting makes this a pretty strong photo in this challenge. 8

The DOF is so powerful here picking out the zip at the heel that I don't know why you tried to force the "end of day" idea. This way, without the title you have a bit more trouble figuring what's going on in the picture. A protrait shot standing up would have been better I think instead. Tilt your head to the right and see.
