Snow Whiteby birgirComment: At first glance I'm torn on this shot. Yes its depicts a fairytale (Snow White) but something bothers me. I can't quite put my finger on it other than to say I'm in 'fairy mode' at the moment. Excellent image and I'll come back to it later. (currently 7) |

Lioness Rampantby AnastasiaComment: I'm not 100% convinced 'Lioness Rampant' was in a fairytale? However this is probably the best photograph I've seen in this challenge, the lighting is perfect and its definetely a medieval theme and with an adult twist? [8] I think I have my 3 ribbon winners now. |

My Fairy Tale Husbandby debitiptonComment: Love it love it love it. Bringing you back down to earth this is a fairy tale challenge not a fantasy one lol. I would have liked to see a bit more detail in the wing and (expense warning) would have been better if you could have cut off the iron cord. Nice desat [7] |

Merlin Livesby duncesComment: Love the mood and atmosphere in this shot though Merlin looks a little like Darth Vader. The lighting is excellent as are the colours. Top vote so far is 8 but this may get bumbed up. |

Secret Garden by mrorange002Comment: So glad you found a vulcan for this. A lot of time must have gone into this and it is reflected in the shot. Not a fan of borders in challenges [8] |

Hope........for a home!by suemackComment: Congratulations Sue :)
I think the SPCA (as well as the animals)will benefit from a series of pictures from you, you seem to have the nack for capturing animal emotions, as for the series - go do it now! |

Sea of tranquillity by geewhyComment: Gordon, this was one of the first challenges I saw when I joined as a full member and it almost made me ask for my money back! Its been in my favourites for a while, I must have forgotten to comment.
Rather than being daunted by it, I now aspire to similar greatness but not sure I'll live long enough. Whilst I doubt getting the image like this was simple, thats what it conveys and makes it a stronger image. |

The Connectionby DefyTimeComment: Of your recent cruise pics (all gr8) this is my favourite. would love to know how you captured the red whilst keeping the background so vibrant. My only thought (after some time viewing) would be to shift the horizon a degree or two to the left? |

Neon Wineby smartypantsComment: I didn't vote in Neon but would probably have given it a 5 or 6. Now, don't get me wrong but if I'd have known it was taken by a 12 year old it would probably have scored a 7 or 8 from me. Not only do you have talent behind the lens (composition etc) but you already have a fine grasp on post editing. I look forward to more of your pictures Andrea. |
