Am guessing this shot was setup by you and you didn't just happen upon it? If so you should have made sure the T shirts were the same colour and the backgound was less cluttered. This is a very clever shot and could have been a ribbon winner if you'd taken a little more time on the setup imho though am sure it will score well for you, good luck.

Pretty neat setup, I've seen this a few times and even tried it myself but never seen a pic with edges on the step before - nice addition.

Great shot and meets the challenge perfectly. My first thought was that the boat should be on the models hand but then realised she is blowing it away so bumping 1 :)

I'm just hoping the overuse of neatimage (or similar) doesn't hurt your final score. The NI is fine apart from the hands/knuckles for me. Popped back for a bump and comment and noticed a couple of things on this viewing that I missed before. Firstly the fingers are not lined up but for me it doesn't distract from the image and secondly did you poke the cigarette through the picture?

And you hi-jacked it well Germaine, am sure Zigomar will be well pleased. This is a great shot, the composition, colours and blur are great and your subject seems to be walking into, well, nothing - makes me think.

Another great shot, very 70's. The LB blur on the front of the VW is sublime!

Greetings from Andi via the Critique Club

First Impression: Meets the challenge well, a fun shot and having the subject central in the shot works well for me.

Composition: The composition is fine however I'd have been inclined to have taken a few steps to the left to lose the background tree that is competing with the juggler (though this might have brought something more distracting into the scene).

Tecnical: Focus seems fine however the image is underexposed and I can't make out what the juggler has on the end of the stick, a nice shot requiringing some 'pop'.

Overall thoughts: Nothing in the shot screams 'WOW' to me. I think its a decent image just lacking on a few technical points. I'm looking forward to viewing more of your work Aditya.

Ooh, very nice Germaine, great colours and you caught the girl at just the right time. The lamps in the store give a great effect.

Greetings from Andi via the Critique Club for the second time this week lol.

First Impression: I love the jaunty angle, it frames the subject nicely but the sky is a bit blah. My first vote was a 6 and was bumped to a 7 on the second pass.

Composition: Excellent. The tilted aspect isn't to everybodies taste especially when there is no reason for it but it works well for me here and lines everything up nicely in the frame

Tecnical: Not 1005 sure about the colour/focus on the tree and the main subject is really just a black blob however, this is the street photography challenge so I'm not looking for studio lighting and whilst I'd like the colour to pop a little more I think its a great candid.

Artistic: Some people think using a jaunty angly on their shot makes it artistic but thats not true, there has to be a good reason for tilting the camera. For me the tilt here seems natural and everything fits nicely into the frame so yes, I think this is very artistic.

Overall thoughts: The zebra crossing, main tree, church and line down the road all work together and if it were shot at a different angle I think much of the impact would be lost. Choosing your moment to capture this image as the main subject crossed the zebra crossing is just inspired and I must say I prefer this to my last critique of your work - and that was a ribbon winner!
