	This is not proper.........another conflict for the north and south! by tolovemoon Comment: congrats on the statement (whoever raised them in this order) but it seems almost blasphemous. i don't care for the grain in the sky either.

	Survival by Gracious Comment: i would like to see this one framed in MUCH closer. i want to see the detail of the fish in his mouth. if you could get it so that the entire photo would be composed of his eye at the extreme upper left edge and the tip of his beak at the lower right - i think that would make it a bit more dramatic.

	Family affair by unicum Comment: bland. there is a uniformity of texture and color across the whole photo (with the obvious exception of her face). it loks like so many photos you see in family albums. perhaps there's something to be said for that - the "conflict" that exists in every "typical family" not sure if i buy it though...

	The chemistry between us by jacq Comment: i'm not sure why, but this photo seems "bland" to me. its very static (this is not a negative criticism) in its framing and as such i would like to have more powerful imagery. or perhaps manipulated a bit more "heavy-handedly"

	Conflict between Sea and Land by train Comment: i like the idea, but the shot doesn't seem to evoke the power that is going on here. maybe plastic bagging the camera and getting down at the waterline and shooting the explosion above "eye-level" would help exaggerate the moment....???

	Solving a conflict by litbolti Comment: nothing very striking, but strangely hypnotic... i can't stop looking at it. i think the over-sharpening has forced the "grittiness" of the image to capture me.
