This image was taken on a lovely cold Sunday morning walk in February. I entered this into my camera clubs A4 print competition and gained a 2nd place whic I was totally shocked and delighted.

I love the simplicity, colour and fantastic detail in the ice, and proudly display the image on a wall at home. To me that's why I enjoy taking pictures so much.

This image was taken in Oxford in April 2004. A lot of post processing to get the right levels of sepia toning and grain. I entered this image into an A4 B/W print competition at my local camera club and gained a 2nd place, which I was really pleased with.

The effect dose't work very well when re-sized and viewed here, the effect is far more dramatic when printed at A4 and framed.

This is a picture of my brother and his son (Dominic), he was about 2 weeks old when this was taken with a Fuji 602z. I like the contrast in the photo that the backlighting from the window gives and also the way Dominic is being held.

I recently joined my local Camera Club and plucked up enough confidence to enter this image into the annual b/w image competition. I was very happy as this placed 3rd out of 40 entries. It now is proudly hung on one of my walls at home.
