Libraryby ssenguptaComment: I just love libraries! Great choice of angle. The symmetry is pleasing. Almost wish the chair was a little more asymmetrical in the composition. The brightness of the lighs does detract somewhat. |

Silvia by cyanoComment: Lovely look of contentment on this child's fact! Strong composition in black and white with a great tonal range. Child in background is mildly distracting, but otherwise nearly flawless. |

Alma Materby fisheyeComment: Nice interpretation! Libraries are the only life-long learning institutions freely available to all.
Like the choice of angle and the limited pallette. Strong lines work well to make a pleasing composition. Gotta love those old Carnegie buildings! |

Student Taxiby LilawibryComment: Yes, it's a symbol of school--but I'm not sure it represents education very well. Sky is blown out to ill effect. Just wish there was something more here, something to tell a story. |

graduationby asneemComment: Ahh...the joy of accomplishment! You've captured wonderful expresion in both subjects. It seems difficult lighting made it hard for you to stop the motion entirely, which would have made this a near perfect image. |

subtle submission, total resignationby docpjvComment: Nice! Love the composition. Wanting to see a little sharpness somewhere in the photo--perhaps if the eyes were crisply in focus... Nonetheless, great feeling! |

reading, 'riting and 'rithmeticby umbrisComment: Pretty subjects! (I love old things.) Wish the spines had a little light on them--just feels too much like a void. Great texture on the well-worn cover. I like the arrangement. |

The walk to classby CamComment: Beautiful. Lovely framing. Interesting subject. Two things detract for me: 1. horizon seems tipped to the left. 2. that pair of legs--need to see more of the person on none at all. Still, makes me wish I went to school there. |

Classroom Perspective: A Teacher's Point of Viewby dipaulkComment: I hope you meant this to be humorous, because the" teacher" whose point of view we're sharing seems to be falling over and hiding from her students behind those plants!
The exposure is pleasing. The colors clean. Focus is crisp. Depth of field contains the subjects. |

Talking With Godby cowcollectComment: A picture of a church certainly answers the challenge. But I'd like to see the top of the steeple, some contrast in the building, intersting light and sky. |
