No Pedestrian Crossingby bdshortComment: Nice work - I like the feel to this photo. You were lucky to get a wet road to photograph. The sign grabs my attention since it is well lit in the photo. The border is appropriate and frames the photo well without distracting me. Great work. |

1600 Pennsylvania Ave.by iraeComment: It's a lovely building in the background, but the tree and sign fight with each other too much. |

One Wayby boyte1Comment: I think the sign needed more light - my eyes are drawn to the fingers initially. I like the composition and black and white was the correct choice I think. |

Martian robot disguises itself as a roadsign!by MarklaneComment: Composition is good for the suggested target. In some ways the giveway sign is distracting - since it's a more traditional sign it fights for attention. I think this would have been more effective with no other signs in the shot - although I realise that probably wasn't possible without losing the road (unless you hid the giveway sign behind the solar panel) |

Everything has it's limit!by RaindropComment: Nice photo - although I'm surprised by the sign. Most (if not all) of the types of truck shown would weigh more than 3T unladen - especially the semi which probably weighs 8-10T. Anyway, back to the photo... Nice composition and focus is pretty good (perhaps just a little blury on the bridge). Colours are good and the sign is well positioned to grab my attention. Good work. |

It's rondo!by andlbComment: Unfortunately none of the signs really grab my attention. The fountain is too nice and the leftmost streetlight too stunning - I keep looking at them. I might have tried to crop out the flare in the top right corner of the image, but it's not a big problem. Exposure is good and focus is very strong for a long exposure like this. |

signs of sea dogsby andresComment: No dogs with detachable heads allowed huh? The sign is perhaps a little too dark (although you'd probably have to artificially light it to overcome that). Composition is pretty good - maybe too much sky but in a way I like the balance... it creates a sense of openness and space. |

Show Me A Signby bobgaitherComment: Colour is great in this photo. I also like the composition - the road and the array of signs (thankfully all the same colour scheme). Does the mud in the grass imply that a few people miss the corner. :-) |

The city no one calls homeby mariomelComment: Funny title. I like you composition - the sign is well placed (perhaps just a little close to the tallest building under it), The shot of the city is an interesting one - lots of variety and the clouds of smoke / steam add an industrial feel to it. My biggest negative is that the sign is a little dark - I wonder if using a flash would have helped illuminate the sign since it was backlit by the sun. Well done. |
