Make a Wishby Dr.ConfuserComment: It's a good shot, but I don't see a strong tie to the challenge subject. Also, the hands are too close to her eye and are a little distracting. I really like the colour and warmth of the shot though and it has an interesting crop. |

Silver Elvisby bucketComment: What a cool guy. I'm assuming it's a painted artist that sometimes moves a little. Personally I would have focused more on the person - if not for the title I almost would have missed him hiding there in the corner. As it was it was a pleasant surprise to see him there. Good work. |

Santa Monica Trafficby mikewill73Comment: Lovely colours and the long shutter conveys motion well - appropriate for the title. I like the composition as well - good work. |

Security in the cityby LongreachComment: RACV... Hmm, another local. I've already seen two other Melbourne photos (well, one of them is mine). It's kind of sad I can identify the purpose of most of those keys. This is a different approach to the subject and relatively well done. |

Hitting the Cityby rapidComment: Interesting colorisation (I'm assuming), although I'm not sure what it adds to the image. I travel to the city every day by train, so I understand how it becomes a part of life. |

New Haven Docks, 1932by glodaComment: 1932 you say... Well that's surely outside the submission timeframe. :-) Good composition, good sepia and the grain effect is ok as well. It's good that his attire is appropriate to the timeframe you suggest. I like this shot - good portrait. |

Survival!by chadagaComment: Interesting - I'm not totally sure what's happening though. Perhaps a big back-flip or something. The inclusion of the audience is a nice touch. Perhaps more focus on the performer and less on the distant audience would work well though. |

Above It Allby adyusComment: It's a nice cityscape shot - nice early morning (perhaps late afternoon) colours. It doesn't really convey much about "City Life" to me though. Other than that it's a good photo - nice colour, brightness, sharpness, etc. |

Sgt C. Gull - Traffic Controlby digidoriComment: Witty title, but the photo doesn't seem terribly relevant to "City Life". The trees make it look like a boat ramp in the countryside. Technically the photo is fine - colour, sharpness, contrast all good. |

Trafficby SteveinnzComment: I like this shot - there is certainly plenty of traffic. As a suggestion try cropping the sky entirely out of the shot - because it's so bright it draws your attention away from the "cars" unnecessarily. A different crop might make this photo more "focused" on the traffic. Good work though. |
