Walk of Beautyby kathleenmComment: This is the first "stunning" photo I've voted on so far. It's such a simple photo, yet is says so much. The road/path is composed perfectly, the trees on the left are perfect and putting the horizon centered all work well. The colours are also lovely and natural, which suit the subject. |

Landscape from my deck through a hole in the trees.by waltomlComment: I'm jealous of your deck - what a lovely view. The framing of the trees is very good. You could have cropped some of the top of the image perhaps - although I'm not sure I can find a good height to stop at. The trees in the foreground are a little dark, but only a little. Finally, if you plan on making a print I think there are filters which could smooth the sky out a little. Still a great photo though. |

A Winter Day in Kentuckyby lecalanComment: It's a nice enough photo, however the horse steals the show a little. The composition and framing is good - perhaps a little more of the leftmost tree could be left in shot. The colours are very natural and easy to look at. Well done. |

Windswept Treeby lisaeComment: Your composition and framing is very good - especially having the tree on the right edge given the way it is wind blown. The photo looks just marginally out of focus - perhaps a tiny bit of camera shake. The border suits the image well. |

Sydneys Greatest (Bridge)by RavenComment: Sepia tone works really well in this photo - the old bridge, with the sailing ship in the foreground suit it. It looks like the framework for the fireworks is still on the bridge, but it doesn't distract that much. Well done. |

Riu Ripollby bcncrazyComment: Nice photo. The reflections on the lens from the sun are a (small) shame - Perhaps you could shade the lens (or even buy a lens hood depending on the camera). The river and valley lends itself to a portrait orientation - well done. Finally, the ground appears purple on the almost-bottom right - is this a camera glitch or something growing on the ground? |

The Hill In Infraredby DavenitComment: Very moody photo - especially with the black looking clouds in the sky. It looks like a potential scene for a Tim Burton movie. My only negative comment is that perhaps the black at the bottom is too much - I think the photo could have been very effective if cropped at the bottom of the whitish hill (or even taken from a closer point). Good work |

Forgottenby spidermanComment: I like the aspect ratio of this photo, and I love the contrast between the rust and the green. The tank is quite well focused, and the border works well (especially given the sky is virtually white). Good work. |

Lullabyby lukenickComment: The photo is slightly blurred / out of focus. This is no doubt a result of the low light, possibly combined with a hand-held shot. Your framing is good and it's a lovely shot. You should try it again with a tripod, or resting the camera on something (and a broom handle perhaps). It could make a lovely photo if exposed correctly and slightly more in focus. |

See You Later, Aligator... (Bill Haley)by miss parkerComment: The graininess of the photo suggests that perhaps digital zoom was used. Also, it took me a little while to fully understand the image (what was reflection, etc) - perhaps it is cropped to tightly. You chose a very complimentary green for the border but perhaps the black could have been a little smaller. |
