I saw red when I was shopping on Mondayby primabarbaraComment: The shot fits the challenge well, but the execution is not quite up to par.
I do like the red concept but it's still a messy red snapshot to me. Lighting is flat, the focus is undefined, the camera angle is weird...
Minimal editing challenges do pose (ehem) challenge in all of these areas. |

Other than that, nice shot. A bit grainy, but that sometimes comes with minimal editing challenges. |

Technically, i would prefer some more separation of the subjects from the background and a foreground that's does not draw the attention to itself (referring to the wooden floor/table/countertop). But that's just me. |

The Tuna Towersby GeneralEComment: I love this. It lacks almost everything a typical "technically well executed" photograph has. Focus, sharpness, contrast, blacks... It's a grainy, blurry mess full of overblown highlights, but i still love it. Definitely in my top 5.

vitaminsby TiberiusComment: Green on the broccoli would have complemented well with the colorful mess is the out of focus background. It simply begs to be in color.
I would really like to see a color version of this (if you have one) in the outtakes. |
