One of my favorite entries. It was a sure rubbon in my eyes.
Even more so, now that i see that the equipment is a camera phone. I demand a recount :-)

My first ribbon, YEEEEEEE!

Thank you on your votes and comments.

@jomari: It was my first attempt at this kind of photography. It is not as difficult as it looks given you have patience for trial and error. There is an excellent video tutorial at gavtrain.com (//www.gavtrain.com/?p=3724). Equipment-wise it is not that demanding either. External flash, some sort of off-camera triggering capability, tripod and a remote. The remote is not mandatory, but it helps a lot. You can get away with the self timer, but it will require much more tries.

One thing i will definitely try in the future is to use sparkling mineral water. I expect some nice details details from the bubbles. And i should have boosted the background flash a bit more (about a stop)

Excellent idea and excellent composition.
My only remarks are at the execution. Exposure and white balance are a little off to me. A bit more saturation and sharpness might benefit the photo, but that's minimal editing.

I would have tried the other way around. Following the skater and keepint him sharp and blurring the background.
Not an easy task (i have failed it many times).

Nice one.
I would prefer a tighter crop.

I like it, especially the execution with the black background. I would have cloned out some of the little drops, though. They are too distracting.

I would have done it with more contrast and in B/W. Nevertheless i like it.
