It's The Real Joyby Ram21Comment: I love this idea! hehehe... I actually drink both pepsi AND coke.. diet and regular... just whatever's on sale or available. But still. It's always fun to tease Corporate America! I wonder what it would have looked like with a black background rather than a white one. I'm not partial to the "white sheet" look, although I like how the lightbox lit up the can. Or maybe that was one of the other lighting sources lighting it? Hehe.. I don't know. But I like it. |

California Poppyby Ram21Comment: I agree about the poppy on the left. It draws your eye away from the big, open one. I really love the focus and detail of it, though.. and I do like it off centered with the background so scraggly and blurred. I almost bought something like this at the poppy festival (a print somewhat like this!)
Just looking through some of your work, trying to learn a thing or two! |

Three minutes left.by moviemanComment: Three minutes left? I wish I got to sleep in that late! I have to say.. I like your creativity but this doesn't convey silence, to me. It conveys panic!! I think the sound of the alarm clock is the most repulsive sound in the world! hehe.. way to do something different! |

End of the Dayby TooCoolComment: You know.. there were quite a few evening and landscape shots in this challenge and I really wasn't impressed with most of them. They were pretty, sure, but just not very dynamic, in my opinion. However.. when I came across your photo, I just sat and stared. It's beautiful. I love the very tiny hint of sunset, and the silhouettes of the trees, but also the touch of fences against snow. The little "scratch" in the sky is unfortunate but... as many things as you can control in photography, you can't control nature! Maybe you would edit that out, if you were to make a print. I'm not really sure (I'm new to all of this!) Lovely job! One of my favorites in the entire challenge!
edit - (Uncoftunate was really unfortunate.. wow.. odd spelling, I have. Fixed it! After the challenge, this is still one of my favorite shots.) Message edited by author 2004-03-10 00:08:40. |

Silent Abyssby khkaiComment: Wow.. this picture really shows silence, but in a creepy sort of way. I really like the yellowness of it. It definitely portrays silence.. but a kind of silence that would give me the chills if I was out there alone. Nice job! |

Another foggy morning by soccerdadComment: I love this shot! It screams silence (hehe.. little bit of an oxymoron, there. I suppose I should say that it whispers silence!). I love the colors and the angle. This is one of my very most favorite photos in this challenge. |

Silent Waitingby luckycharmsrockComment: To me, she doesn't look so much like she's waiting as much as she looks like she's watching something. But I really love the color and somewhat grainy texture of this. Nice composition! |
