Interesting and creative approach. I like it. The blurry chops are a little distracting (but I don't know if that's pertinent - it might be because I'm trying to read them and can't).

This is great for the Chinese Zodiac - not only is the dog a good choice (breed), in a good position, the tree/bush it's in front of is a great shape and the ground is a great color. Maybe a slightly tighter crop on the right or a little less blurriness on the back right ground and it'd be perfect to my eyes. Maybe too a little more definition (a lighting issue maybe?) on the dog's black face. I really like this.

Sort of a rooster of a dog... I like the focus in the center and the grays (including the background). The out of focus bits don't work for me.

I don't like the crop on this with so much of the light teal at the top and on the right upper corner, as well as forming the dog's nose and seemingly cutting off its paws, etc. I think I'd have liked it a lot in a tighter crop and/or with some hint of where the nose ends.
