This is all personal opinion so take it for what it's worth. I like the other image better but prefer this processing. Your other noir processing is pushed a little far and there is noticeable haloing around the bird. It's a fun image to play around with so try different editing techniques until your satisfied.

This is a fine, uncomplicated place to sit and relax. I agree with Andi, the painting could be a mirror image of the opposite wall but I believe this is your outdoor porch in the middle of Kruger. This is home.

I can barely make out branches, but I know they are there, and swirls imply a windy afternoon. Possibly the inspiration for Van Gogh (thinking of the sky in Starry Night).

Because of the complexity of your subject, monochrome was a good choice. Black and white simplifies and the streaking light or filter adds to the mystery.

Of the two I prefer this one. It's more visually tactile if that makes sense. The light leak on the top edge is a nice touch.

I wanted the flattening merge effect but at the same time didn't. It's a candid of a young man walking past graffiti. I think it's the result of seeing a Kara Walker Show and listening to John Coltrane. At least that's my excuse.
