Best of the knot shots, good choice of colors balanced between subject and background

Interesting editing choice, but the rotation of both the figure and the bar counterclockwise is very distracting to me.

This is a lovely shot and the lighting is perfect, the only knock is that the balloon is pretty much gone at the moment of exposure so I expect it will be knocked down from where it would score in an open challenge.

Nice composition and use of colors, I just wish the edges of the yellow balloon were a bit more in focus, I like the blur of the background so its a fine line but if you had gotten a bit more separation between the two it would have helped.

I love the chaotic dissymetry, the tie in between the color of the cones and the sky, the uncomfortably close crop at the top of the frame, and the use of the wideangle to bend the horizon to create a feeling of menacing unreality. I don't know why this shot makes me laugh.

Grats on the back door ribbon Mark, very nice work, and thanks for the "how to" lighting link, I'd agree with the idea of a stronger gel, and perhaps had you rotated the background so it was a bit simpler, it would have put more focus on the heroic barbeque master. Great idea, well executed, shame about the model ;)

Another lovely shot Alex, I like to watch a photographer working the same subject matter from different perspectives, and this is a great addition to your impressive Richmond Park series. Congratulations on your impressive placement in this competition, but even more so on the series.

Lovely shot but the image is in the wrong phase for the challenge, so this image has to be an image of another image, perfectly legal, but it will garner a lower score than if you had used an image of a full or near full moon. Well done, but for that.
