Detoxification by PaulComment: I would have saved this for fine art. It has that weird slant that would fit there, and here im afraid it will pick up some anti nude scores. Its my pick for blue with a 10. the composition and mix of texture are just great. |

Libraby RamblinRComment: I do wish you could have gotten all the goodness here without that shadow, it just steals all the mystic goodness form the shot. That said a very nice image, top ten |

Polymorphismby JudiComment: I like the framing, the massing and the tones. I miss the detail the the limited focal plane leaves out. If all the details had been there this would have been top five. |

waiting on a friendby FourPointXComment: I do love the weird narrative here. A small slice of normal life presented as if it is special, almost mythic. Very nice processing. |

Lens Affairby Breeee123Comment: Beautifully lit, processed and presented. Oh and it helps that she is pretty and you got a nice transitional expression. Is this Gary? |

red stairsby leonedavisComment: I am puzzled by the title. this is a lovely image with a good focal point and some nice tones and textures, but the title makes us think of something that isn't in the image. Im also not too keen on the stair edge that is just barely in the frame, it draws they eye and has nothing to say. the stairs, the drips and the bird are all very solid. |

RGBby onepurpleroseComment: How this got any votes below 5 amazes me, cause you nailed the challenge with a lovely image. The only possible improvement would be to widen the white background to bring it around the sides to lessen the dark lines reflected along the sides of the glass. |

Tiny Patchby onepurpleroseComment: I was puzzled by the shallow depth of field here. Usually shallow DOF says "hey! This is the thing I want you to look at! Here, just this is what is important."
But here the line of focus is no different than what we can see of the rest of the frame. I certainly got that the grass was growing out of the pavement, but wasn't sure what you wanted to show me. |

Spring thawby michelaudetteComment: The contrast is a bit weak, and that steals some of the drama form this shot, a few deeper blacks and darker grays would make the snow pop |

A Study in Light, Depth,Texture and Formby tfarrell23Comment: The lighting and texture on the ball are great, but the glove ( im guessing the ball is in a feilder's glove) cuts off the circle of the ball and is so vague and has so little information that it's major effect is as a negative. So partial wow! and partial huh? |
