Life by elsapoComment: Good to see you can make lovely shots without using all you PS chops. I like what you do in post processing, you have created a look that is pretty distinctive, and this is not it. It is sort of like a rock guitarist doing an acoustic set, nice in and of itself, and a nice display of range. |

Refresh by JulieGComment: Congratulations on the red. I have to disagree with your comments above about wishing the water could have been more frozen in it's movment. I think the fact that the hands are more static makes them the focal point, if the water had not been slightly blurred, all those wonderfull colors and patterns in the water would have taken the focus away from the hands, it would have been a shot of water pouring over hands rather than a shot of hands in a stream of water. A subtle point I am making badly. Restated, this good, me like, more better this way. |

Indian Mehndiby ARMY_DOCComment: Lovely colors and forms, but the focus seems to be at the back of the frame, giving the hands a waxy look. |

Worryby espy2Comment: very nice textures, the slackening of skin in both hands and face is well rendered here. I don't think the title helps you because I see less fretting than deliberation in his face, and your title tells me something I don't see. Great DOF and the slide of tones across the frame really centers the eye on the facial features and the hamds. Is this John's? It has his quality, ought to ribbon. |

Lacedby IndigoButterflyComment: The base of the thumb in the upper left corner is distracting and out of focus. The rest of the frame is amazing. Just perfect postprocessing to get all these tones and textures. top ten. bumping up on review of the whole lot. |

Silent Not Silencedby mosallComment: Dark and brooding by desing, but I wish there was just a bit more in the highlights, still it looks like Julia M. Cameron might have done this shot, at least in the mood and tones. |

S P I Nby bonnettComment: good composition and great tones on the B&W conversion, but the backround is not helping the overall image of focued concentration. |
