Alternate Realityby CoryComment: Your processing has transformed this "not so interesting" capture into a quite interesting image :) |

The end of an excellent dayby markwileyComment: I really like the colours in this image. Quite often I find that people oversaturate these kind of pictures. Your processing is near perfect in my eyes! |

4th New York Independent Battery - Devil's Den - Gettysburg Battlefieldby glad2badadComment: I didn't vote on this challenge, but I agree with the two issues raised by atupdate/Tim. I'll add one more thing. To me the image looks cluttered, in lack of better words. This is because of everything going on in the hillside. All of the rocks, shrubs and different coloured grass is stealing my attention away from the actual monument. Of course this is not something you can do anything about, but perhaps a different angle might have done the monument more justice? I don't know..I'm still learning :)

Thinly Veiledby FromDaRockComment: I'm not sure about the vignetting. I think it might be too much. But nice composition and gorgeous lady. |

Under the May Appleby bobccComment: Really cool angle and the colours are great. Would have preferred it if the stalk was not so blurry and there is something strange going on in the tree tops that I don't know the technical term for. But overall, sweet shot! |

Smokin'by theluissalesComment: Great capture! I think adding more saturation in the reds in post-processing might have made the planes stand out more. |

Stairsby UrhoComment: Nice sky, but the processing of the foreground has left a halo over the tree tops that I would have preferred not to be there |

Danielle by GilesComment: Looks like a cool chick! I think a different aperture might have improved the image, so that both eyes were in focus |

Hidden Gem - A place to find peaceby ReveccaComment: Hopefully, this does not come across as douchy, but I find that tranquility can be really hard to convey in a photo. As much as I want to feel it here, I think this might be one of those instances where you have to be there. Or maybe it is just me. Nevertheless, continue enjoying your hidden gem, because that's what matters the most :) |
