Zipperby TechoComment: I actually like that this isn't centered, which is amazing given my OCD with stuff like this. Really nice. |

Lightby StagoleeComment: Very interesting treatment. Almost creepy, which when I read the title I suspect wasn't what you were going for. Perhaps it's because the child reminded me immediately of this lifesized doll we had in the house growing up, "Baby John", that my Mom would dress up rather bizarrely and place around the house. Art is supposed to evoke a reaction and yours certainly did. |

grassby tnunComment: Very interesting and striking photo. Really lovely. It leaves me wondering how the processing holds up to Advanced Edit scrutiny, but ultimately that doesn't matter - the result it wonderful. |

Empty Circlesby gipper11Comment: I replied to your post but thought I'd give you a specific comment about the image and the votes I see. It's technically very good, but it's also what I would refer to as "familiar". When I look at your vote distribution you have five 9's and a pair of 10's to go with the 1 and 3's. You'll notice that this place tends to grade on a fairly evenly distributed curve until you hit the very top and the very bottom, so what you see here isn't unusual. I was back and forth between a 5 & 6 on this one and went with the 5 because of the familiarity of it (it's one of the things I expected to see in "Circles", as were the pencils and oil/water shots). Take heart in the 9's and 10's, they don't come easy in this place. |
