Glass in Bloomby C_Steve_GComment: I like the shades of pink in this photo. It suggests to me that the nourshimernt from the flower is entering the Hummingbird. The dark background works very well and the lighting you created is particularly nice as it seems to originate within the sculpture, yet that could not be the case. Very well done, one of my favorites in this challenge,,, |

Spring Flowersby trainComment: Well its not the time of year for these lovlies here but I can just about smell them with this great photo you've created. Is this spring in New Zealand? If only I could keep these going year round in my home or garden... ever so slightly over sharpened.... |

Interludeby PedroComment: My preferances in photos kept this excellent picture from beng voted higher even though it is done very well and is evocative. I hope it does well as it is quite good. |

Parrot Portraitureby buzzrockComment: What̢۪s not to like about this great photo? Nothing... There have been many of them shown on this site. What would have garnered a better score? Not the colors they are excellent, the focus is there too... maybe the setting? I took a picture for my neighbor of her pet bird that escaped with a telephoto lens as it was perched up high in the branches of my Redwood Tree, she said that they were better than any of the many she had taken.... there is something about a natural backdrop that tends to enhance any picture IMHO. |

First Lightby autoolComment: I like the interesting pattern in the water & on the sand yet I think that the burn on the lighting and mountains in the background spoil the shot somewhat. Perhaps a differnet crop? Its a great photo none the less! |
